Call to protect for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels – SMC/SC is scheduled to deliver meals to seniors through the Laguna Woods Senior Center on May 23, 24 and 25. Volunteers need to be available from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Volunteers will be paired in teams of two. Volunteers are needed; please contact Susan Payne at (949) 752-1177 if you can assist.

Call to Protect - This is an ongoing program. Used cell phones can be brought to any SMC/SC meeting. Project One has already shipped three boxes of phones to Call to Protect for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence this year.

Support Our Troops – Project One is working on preparing “care packages” for military personnel overseas. We would like to solicit donations over the next several months and be able to mail packages at the end of August. Many builders and consultants have agreed to assist in the mailing expense of these packages. For items that are in the greatest need, please contact Susan Payne at (949) 752-1177.

Cal-Works – Fill the Backpacks – This is being coordinated with the July Beach Party. Susan Payne will assemble a list of supplies that are needed.
